He was an illustrator for many Canadian and U.S. magazines, including The Saturday Evening Post, Field and Stream, and Argosy. He served in the Marine Corps during which time he illustrated for Leatherneck Magazine and the Marine Corps Gazette. He was best known for his nature works featuring the American West. He passed away in 1989 at the age of 82 Artist: John Clymer Important Added Info: Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: very good. The calendar has a horizontal line of glue staining along the top of the page at lower center (see our image). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well!
