Auer South America jungle safari science fiction romantic fantasy adventure thriller ("A woman cursed with eternal youth!"; "Cursed with eternal youth!"; "The sullen killer of the jungles... and the woman who knew no fear! The story of their meeting and the strange events that followed!"; "This was a man who grew old while love stayed young!"; "This was a man who made a woman hate her loveliness!"; "Original story by Earl Felton") starring George Brent, Vera Ralston, Brian Aherne, Constance Bennett, Fortunio Bonanova, Alfonso Bedoya, Gus Schilling, and Richard Crane NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these are "international" style lobby cards (meaning they were printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). The cards were printed with the international title "Drums Along the Amazon", which is why we know they are international. But they were later used in the U.S., so someone spent an insane amount of time painting over the "DRUMS ALONG" portion of each card, with yellow paint and then painting "ANGEL ON" over that area with paint that matched the words "THE AMAZON"! This truly was insane, because there is no way someone did not spend hours on this, if not days! I guess labor was really cheap in those days. Condition: fair. Someone expertly repainted part of the title on each of the eight cards (see above). Depending on how you look at it, this is either a major detraction or a really fun bizarre set of lobby cards. The title card also has light brown staining in the middle right, and tape on the back of the bottom border. One of the scene cards has a piece of tape on the back of the bottom border, and all the cards have some defects in the borders. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of the cards. Learn More about condition grades
