An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Louis Jourdan was a French actor from the 1930s to the 1990s. He started acting at the age of 17 in 1939, and after his dad was arrested by the Nazis in France in World War II, he joined the Resistance and went to Hollywood in 1947, achieving his stardom in 1958 in "Gigi". Some of his other movies include: Irma la Douce, The V.I.P.s, The Paradine Case, Swamp Thing, Letter from an Unknown Woman, and Octopussy. He passed away in 2015 at the age of 93. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Louis Jourdan! Our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
