An Original Vintage Linenbacked Music Concert Poster (measures 14" x 20 1/4" [36 x 51 cm]) (Learn More) Doors the Sparrow, the 1967 rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) band music concert poster advertisting the concert to be held at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, California on May 12-13 featuring The Doors and The Sparrows. Note that this is a REALLY cool poster where the image makes little sense from close up, but from a distance looks quite different. Also, the writing is kind of unreadable at first, but when you look at it for a while, you can clearly see what is written there! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Monors Condition: good to very good. The poster had a triangular tear in the top right corner of the purpose background and a 1/2" tear to the left of that, with a few scuffs in the rest of the purple background. There were pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
