8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Boots and Saddles, the 1937 Joseph Kane singing cowboy western musical ("Original Story by Jack Natteford") starring Gene Autry, Smiley Burnette, Judith Allen, Ronald Sinclair (billed as "R.A. Hould"), and Guy Usher. Note that Ronald Sinclair is an interesting, but pretty forgotten actor. He was a child actor (billed under his birth name, which was "Richard Arthur Hould", or "R.A. Hould") in the late 1930s, who retired from acting in the 1940s. Later, he resurfaced as a film editor, and he worked on famous movies, including "Die Hard" in 1988. He passed away in 1992 at the age of 68.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare complete set of lobby cards from the first release of this movie in 1937! We have never auctioned ANY first release cards from this movie, and we have only auctioned a one-sheet (17 years ago), a half-sheet, an 8x10 still and a glass slide, but no other movie paper from the first release whatsoever!

Condition: good to very good. The title card has a small tear at top that has been repaired with conservation tape from the back. The card with the man restrained has a tear at left that has been repaired with tape from the back. The one with Autry handing the soldier paper has an "x" mark to the left of the soldier (see our image). The one with Autry shaking the boy's hand has spotty surface paper loss at left. They are otherwise in pretty nice condition!
