An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Roll on Texas Moon, the 1946 William Witney singing cowboy western musical starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("The smartest horse in the movies"), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Dale Evans, Dennis Hoey, Elisabeth Risdon, and Bob Nolan and the Sons of the Pioneers NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. The poster had two pieces of paper tape on the back of the bottom section of the poster (in the white area below the "N" of "MOON", and touching the bottom of the "N" of "MOON"), and the tape somewhat bled through to the front. Otherwise, the poster was in quite nice condition prior to linenbacking (it had some faint blue smudges near the title and in a few other areas, but I believe this to be a very minor printing defect). It was well backed (the restorer painted over the tape bleed-through), and looks quite nice! Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster (surely because the poster was displayed in a frame). Learn More about condition grades
