Angel and the Badman, the 1947 James Edward Grant romantic cowboy western (about an outlaw who is injured and is nursed back to health by a beautiful Quaker girl; he falls in love with her, and he must choose between her way of life and his) starring John Wayne, Gail Russell, Harry Carey Sr., Bruce Cabot, Irene Rich, Lee Dixon, Stephen Grant, Tom Powers, Paul Hurst, John Halloran, and Louis Faust

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this first release insert! Not only that, but first release U.S. posters from this movie are very scarce (we have auctioned a few one-sheets and window cards, but no other size U.S. first release posters until we were consigned this insert.

Condition: very good. The insert only had one fold, 6" from the bottom. It had some darkening around the edges, with small stains in the bottom of the right border. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to restoration. A talented restorer gel backed the poster (meaning they backed the poster onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the poster still exactly looks and feels like an original poster (and it is!), with no backing at all. You can see slight signs of the restoration, but the poster displays really well!
