Marguerite Veser was a gouache Art Deco artist from the 1930s, and she was the wife of artist Hugo R.B. Newman. If anyone knows more about her, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is one of seven original 1930s Marguerite Veser Art Deco "gouaches", which means they are the original artwork created by this artist on poster board. This is absolutely the original artwork! Each of the seven gouaches are in a separate auction.

Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes in the corners and tiny paper loss in the top corners. The painting and the lettering were done on two separate pieces of board and they were joined together by gluing a small board to the back of that area.
