Metoroporisu (released in the U.S. as "Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis"), the 2001 Rintaro Japanese anime animated cartoon romantic futuristic science fiction (sci-fi) robot fantasy action adventure thriller (based on the comic book by Osamu Tezuka, with a screenplay written by Katsuhiro Otomo) featuring the voices of Yuka Imoto, Kei Kobayashi, Kouki Okada, Taro Ishida, and Kodei Tomita. Note that this movie is a loose remake of the 1927 Fritz Lang movie that was based on the Thea von Harbou novel!
