Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had some darkening in the right ends of the top two horizontal foldlines and a slight bit of darkening on the ends of other foldlines. There was tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There was a 2" x 3" rectangle of paper loss in the background area to the right of Hepburn's head. Other than the above defects, the poster was in nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but you can see slight signs of the restoration of the missing piece in the background at middle right (if it bothered the new owner of the poster, any talented restorer could certainly perform additional touch up to that area without re-backing the poster).
