Date Sold 10/7/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 28 RE-STRIKE 8x10 stills from Spite Marriage, the 1929 Edward Sedgwick silent romantic love triangle revenge comedy (about a lowly "pants-presser", a tailor's assistant, who falls in love with a beautiful star of a Broadway show, and attends every performance; when she is jilted by her leading man, she gets drunk and marries the pants-presser, but when he realizes that she only married him out of spite, he leaves and goes to work as a sailor, but he ends up on the same yacht that she is on, and he rescues her, which causes her to realize she really does love him!) starring Buster Keaton, Dorothy Sebastian, Edward Earle, Leila Hyams, and William Bechtel. Note that these stills were printed from the original plates, likely in the 1960s or 1970s by dealers, and are high quality, but are NOT originals from the 1940s.
