An Original 1977 (from the first release of this movie in Italy) Vintage Theatrical Folded Italian One-Panel (known in Italy as a "2 Fogli") Movie Poster (1p; measures 39" x 55" [99 x 140 cm]) (Learn More) Gloria Mundi, the 1976 Nikos Papatakis French movie-making torture melodrama (a very strange movie about a director making a movie about torture, and after he is killed under mysterious circumstances during filming, the female star of the movie sets out to finish the movie on her own) starring Olga Karlatos, Roland Bertin, Philippe Adrien, Mehmet Ulusoy, and Armand Abplanalp. Note that the director of this movie, Nico Papatakis, was also a producer who helped John Cassavetes finance "Shadows" and he also produced Jean Genet's only movie. This movie apparently was an allegory about the torture that was conducted in Algeria during their war for independence. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
