An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #2 (LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Young Man with a Horn, the 1950 Michael Curtiz trumpet music romantic biographical melodrama ("Put down your trumpet, Jazzman - I'm in the mood for love!"; "Matchless Warner Excitement!"; "From the blazing best-seller, a picture with a wallop... from Warner Bros."; "From the novel by Dorothy Baker"; about a great white jazz trumpet player, based on the life of Bix Beiderbecke) starring Kirk Douglas (as Rick Martin), Lauren Bacall, Doris Day (in her fourth movie role), Hoagy Carmichael, and Juano Hernandez. Note that Harry James supplied the trumpet playing for Kirk Douglas! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There are three small tears in the top and bottom borders that were repaired with tape at one time, but the tape is long gone and there are now tape stains in those areas.
