An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 37" [70 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) El Rapto (literally translates to "The Rapture"), the 1954 Emilio Fernandez Mexican cowboy western romantic comedy melodrama (about a dispute over property) starring Jorge Negrete, Maria Felix, Jose Elian Moreno, Andres Soler, Rodolfo Landa, Ferrusquilla, and Emma Roldan. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: poor to fair. There is MUCH separation in the upper and lower horizontal folds (the lower horizontal fold has a few inches of paper at left, however the upper horizontal fold is being held on to the poster with only 1/4" of paper at left). There are tears of varying lengths and areas of paper loss in the center horizontal fold. This Mexican poster is EXTREMELY fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept how exceedingly fragile it is, or are willing to pay to have it linenbacked and restored, and bear in mind the cost of restoration before bidding.
