An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Zane Grey's Avalanche, the 1928 Otto Brower silent romantic love triangle gambling father-son relationship cowboy western (written by Zane Grey; one of Grey's wildest stories, about a professional gambler who has always been honest, but he needs money to put his son through mining school, and he begins to cheat to get the money he needs, and then his ungrateful son runs off with his father's mistress, and while they are on the run, they get caught in the avalanche that gives the movie its name, and the father rescues them both) starring Jack Holt, Doris Hill, Olga Baclanova (billed as "Baclanova"), John Darrow, Guy Oliver, and Dick Winslow. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The blank top of the card had been mostly trimmed off, and there were some smudges, creases, and scuffs scattered in the image. An expert restorer re-created the portion of the blank top that was missing and did very slight touch up to the image area, and the card displays great! Learn More about condition grades
