Note that 20th Century Fox distributed this movie in the U.S., but sold the distribution rights to RKO for it's international release. Movie paper from either studio that is dated "1956" on this title are both from the original release. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this classic movie was first distributed in 1956 by RKO, which gave it a "roadshow" release (a limited release in major cities with higher than normal ticket prices). Normally, this would have been followed up by a second wide release "at popular prices", also by RKO, but at this exact time, RKO was folding, so the wide release was handled by 20th Century Fox instead. So the material from RKO is from the very first limited roadshow release, while the material from 20th Century-Fox is from the general release. Condition: good. Each has several pinholes around the edges. Many of the tears or other defects as described above have been repaired with several pieces of tape from the back.
