An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Art Carney was an actor from the 1940s to the 1990s. He was a man of many talents, including being an excellent impressionist and mimic, and also a talented caricaturist. While he is best remembered for playing Ed Norton the sewer worker on TV's "The Honeymooners", he was already, at that time, a very successful TV actor (and an extremely intelligent man, nothing like the Ed Norton character he played), who, after The Honeymooners, went on to a successful film career. Some of his movies include: Harry & Tonto (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Harry), A Guide For The Married Man, Going in Style, and The Late Show. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Art Carney! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1970s on. He purchased the signed photos that were in the inventory of a long running memorabilia store, and he has consigned a number of them to us, and we are auctioning them here, including this item. Both we and our consignor feel it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity.
