An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) Klaus Kinski (born Nikolaus Gunther Nakszynski) was a Polish-born German actor from the 1940s to the 1980s. He is best known for his work with director Werner Herzog (and their many personality clashes including physical altercations and death threats!). He also appeared in numerous films during the 1960s based on the works of Edgar Wallace as well as several spaghetti westerns which included a minor role in Sergio Leone's For a Few Dollars More. He had a minor role in Doctor Zhivago. Some of his best remembered movies include: Aguirre The Wrath of God, Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht (as Dracula), Fitzcarraldo, Cobra Verde, and Woyzeck (all of which were director Werner Herzog). He passed away in 1991 at the age of 65. His daughter Pola accused him of sexual abuse when she was a child, which sister Nastassja Kinski corroborated. Condition: very good to fine.
