An Undated (probably 1980s) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Folded French Large Movie Poster (30.75x36; measures 30 3/4" x 36") (Learn More)

Tokyo Monogatari (released in the U.S. as "Tokyo Story"), the classic 1953 Yasujiro Ozu Japanese family relationship melodrama (about an elderly Japanese couple that leaves their small village to visit their grown children in Tokyo, but their children have little time for them, and the parents are disappointed in how they turned out) starring Chishu Ryu, Chieko Higashiyama, So Yamamura, Haruko Sugimura, Setsuko Hara, and Kyoko Kagawa. Note that Yasujiro Ozu was a legendary Japanese writer and director from 1920s to the 1960s. He is likely the second best regarded Japanese director after Akira Kurosawa, and many of his films are considered classics, and this movie was his masterpiece, although he made movies from 1927 to 1962. First release Japanese posters of any kind from any of his movies are beyond rare!
