Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster was never folded, but it was trimmed by approximately 1/2" in each blank border. It had many creases, scuffs, smudges, and stains scattered throughout. It had two long tears in the upper left. Overall, the poster was in fair condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
