Ingmar Bergman's Jungfrukallan (released in the U.S. as "The Virgin Spring"), the classic 1960 Ingmar Bergman Swedish brutal-rape-and-murder-followed-by-revenge-by-father melodrama ("Ravished innocence... brings terrible revenge!"; winner of the Academy Award & Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film) starring Max von Sydow, Birgitta Valberg, Gunnel Lindblom, Birgitta Pettersson, Axel Duberg, and Tor Isedal. Note that in 1972, this movie was remade (minus all the artistry, but with added brutality) as "The Last House on the Left".

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: poor to fair. The poster had a fold down the middle with creases on that fold. It had tears in the middle right that extended into the boy's face, and creases and tears scattered throughout. Overall, the poster was in poor to fair condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
