What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had several extra folds, with some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of several folds. It was backed onto a very thin linen with no excess, and either before or after it was backed, it acquired many creases scattered throughout the middle of the poster and some elsewhere in the poster. It also acquired stains in the lower right border. If I owned this poster, I would have it removed from the old thin linen and properly re-backed, but bear all the above in mind before bidding on this poster.
