An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 13 1/4" x 18 1/4") (Learn More) The Ballad of Josie, the 1968 Andrew V. McLaglen female outlaw cowboy western comedy ("It's Quick-Draw Doris!"; "The wildest, wooliest sheepwoman who ever cowed a herd of cattle barons!"; "When Doris goes West... The West goes chicken!"; "She's for rights for women... She's for lefts for women... And let the men and the laughs fall where they may!"; "Written by Harold Swanton"; about a young woman who stirs things up in a western town by raising sheep instead of cattle, and organizing the local women to demonstrate for women's suffrage) starring Doris Day (billed as "Doris [Calamity Josie] Day"; in the title role as Josie), Peter Graves, George Kennedy, Audrey Christie, Andy Devine, Don Stroud, Karen Jensen, David Hartman, William Talman, Paul Fix, and Harry Carey Jr. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and now measures 13 1/4" x 18 3/4". Also note that the window card was folded across the center at one time. Because the foldline is such that it has NOT diminished over time, then we will fold the window card prior to mailing, if it is purchased by itself, because that would greatly reduce shipping costs (but we will NOT include the bonus Masterprints if we re-fold the poster). But if the poster is purchased with others, then we WON'T re-fold it, because that won't reduce shipping costs, because the size of the package will be dictated by the other posters purchased. Condition: good to very good. The window card originally had a blank top that was partially neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. Other than being folded across the middle and the small trim on the top and sides, the poster is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
