An Original Vintage Linenbacked Italian Museum Art Show Exhibition Poster (measures 27" x 38 3/4") (Learn More)

Andy Warhol, the 1995-1996 Italian art show poster advertising an Italian museum exhibition of Andy Warhol's artwork which was held from the 22nd of October, 1995 to the 11th of February, 1996, in Milan, Italy. Note that this poster features Warhol's 1981 painting "The Star", an Andy Warhol altered image of Greta Garbo from "Mata Hari"!

Condition: good to very good. The poster was folded like a U.S. one-sheet and there were creases and fine surface paper loss on most foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
