An Autographed 1 1/4" x 10" [3 x 25 cm] Cut Album Page (Learn More)

Betty Grable was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s, often appearing in romantic musicals. Some of her movies include: Million Dollar Legs, Tin Pan Alley, Moon Over Miami, and Down Argentine Way. She is perhaps best remembered for her famous sexy legs, and one of her pin-up images, which was one of the absolute most popular ones displayed by soldiers during World War II (at one time, her legs were insured for $1,000,000 by Lloyds of London!). She was married to actor Jackie Coogan, and then later to bandleader Harry James (with whom she had two children). AND Laraine Day was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Foreign Correspondent, Stella Dallas, Mr. Lucky, The High and the Mighty, and Tarzan Finds a Son! Note that many official biographies list her birth date as being in 1917, but when she signed an autograph on a trading card with a biography, she crossed out the 1917 and wrote "1920" above it, indicating she was actually three years younger than that indicated!
Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by BOTH Betty Grable AND Laraine Day! Note that this is a really fun pair of autographs, because both of these great stars signed with their married names! Betty Grable was married to Harry James, and she wrote "Betty Grable James", and Laraine Day was married to baseball manager Leo Durocher, and she wrote "Laraine Durocher"! It could be matted with two vintage or repro stills and framed together to make a cool display! Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from James Spence Authentication.

Condition: very good.
