An Autographed Newspaper Page (measures 19 1/4" x 23") (Learn More) Lois Wilson was an actress and director from the 1910s to the 1950s. Some of her movies include: Bright Eyes, Female, Monsieur Beaucaire, Seed, Manslaughter, and The Girl from Jones Beach. She somehow managed to direct and star in a movie when she was 21, and she made a lot of movies between 1915 and 1936, retiring in 1949, and passing away in 1988 at the age of 93. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Lois Wilson (she signed it twice!)! About the Collection this Item Comes From Note that this item (and 4 others we are auctioning this week, each in its own auction) was consigned to us by a man who has been a collector of movie memorabilia for many years. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together some of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of these 5 autographed items we are auctioning were purchased by this collector either from longtime dealers or other collectors, and we feel it is certain that the autograph on this item is authentic! Note that each of the 5 items from this consignor all have this paragraph on them. Condition: very good. The newspaper page was removed from the rest of the newspaper but is in pretty nice condition!
