An Original Vintage Unfolded Special Travel Agency Poster (measures 35" x 44") (Learn More) Pan Am: Hawaii, the 1960s airplane travel poster ("Fly Pan Am to Hawaii") made by Pan Am to promote travel to Hawaii. The poster shows a great photo image of a hotel resort (on the Kona Coast) swimming pool with the ocean in the background, as seen through palm trees! If anyone knows more about this poster (including the exact year), please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The bottom 4" of the poster was folded back at one time. The poster was both taped and stapled to a wall, and there is tape and staple holes around the edges. There are many creases and a few small water stains in the left and right borders. This week we have given a more detailed overall condition grade along with more details about the condition described in words. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, plus there are some defects (like creasing, tape on the back, extremely tiny pinholes, etc) which can be VERY difficult to see, even in our largest "super-sized" image. Therefore we strongly recommend that you BOTH read our written description of the item, AND ALSO look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
