Green South Seas tropical island romantic adventure thriller ("Pearls Like these were the prize that lured one woman on a voyage with thirty desperate men...."; "In No Other Spot On Earth Does Revenge - Or Love - Flame So Fiercely!"; "A picture bigger than anything you've seen since 'Mutiny on the Bounty'... Bringing you exciting Jon Hall in his first appearance since 'The Hurricane'. Again millions of women will acclaim him as the handsome native chieftain who dealt a terrible revenge to the white men who came to rob him... And taught the meaning of love to the only girl in Singapore tough enough to sail with them!"; "Millions of women will acclaim JON HALL, star of 'The Hurricane', as the handsome native chieftain who dealt a terrible revenge to the white men who came to rob him... And taught the meaning of love to the only girl in Singapore tough enough to sail with them!"; "A thousand thundering terrific thrills... in a fight-swept tropic paradise!"; "THRILL to the battle of the lagoon... white men dynamiting native war canoes! THRILL to the sinuous measures of the luau, native dance of love! THRILL to the underseas battle of the daring pearl divers! THRILL to the sailing ship adrift in the tropic seas... manned by a ghost crew!"; "The Greatest of All South Sea Adventure Pictures!") starring Victor McLaglen, Jon Hall, Frances Farmer, Olympe Bradna, Gene Lockhart and Douglass Dumbrille. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that it is extremely fortunate that the designer of this poster chose to go largely with a romantic image of Jon Hall and cult actress Frances Farmer, and pretty much ignored top-billed star Victor McLaglen! This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Note that the theater that used this poster taped the two pieces together before putting them on display (this is typical of many actual theater-used three-sheets). Condition: fair. There are many tears and some areas of paper loss on some foldlines, more so on the ones that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded (most specifically the foldlines in the top right corner of the poster). There is paper loss in the bottom right corner. There are tape stains in the area where the two sections of the poster were joined together, and there are some water stains scattered in the poster. The entire poster is fragile and is in urgent need of expert professional restoration, but once it is properly linenbacked, it will look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
