Like a bomb?") starring James Dean ("The star sensation of 'East of Eden'!"), Natalie Wood (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Sal Mineo (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Jim Backus, Edward Platt, Dennis Hopper (in a bit part as one of the "goons"), Ann Doran, Corey Allen, William Hopper, Jack Grinnage, Frank Mazzola, and Ian Wolfe NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had diagonal creases at the middle crossfold and at the center of the top and bottom of the poster. There was an area of paper loss in the right of the bottom foldline and some tiny paper loss in the 6" of the bottom foldline to the left of that. There were some creases, scuffs, and tiny areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines and some pinholes, creases, smudges, and tiny tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
