An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer, Boris Karloff, the 1949 Charles Barton screwball horror comedy ("More Ghoulish glee... Than when they met Frankenstein!"; "Help") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Boris Karloff, Lenore Aubert, and Gar Moore. Note that this movie was originally titled "Easy Does It", and it was intended to be a Bob Hope comedy! However, the movie "Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein" had just come out and was a huge hit, and Universal reworked the script for Abbott & Costello, and changed the title to "Abbott and Costello Meet the Killers"! In that script, the lead villain was a FEMALE character named "Madame Switzer"! Five days before shooting began, Boris Karloff was hired, and the character became a swami, and the title of the movie was changed yet again, to include Boris Karloff's name! There is separation and small paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds (the separation at the middle crossfold is 2" horizontally and 3" vertically). There is very tiny separation at the top crossfold. There is 3" of separation in the top and bottom of the vertical foldline, with very slight paper loss in the center of the bottom border. There are pinholes around the edges of the poster and the borders were folded back at one time. There are some tears in the left half of the middle foldline. Clearly, this poster has a lot of defects, but they are truthfully all pretty minor, and after linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great, and it will require little paint restoration anywhere in the image!
