To those who know, the reason's clear; The longest laughs in town are here!"; "From the man who made you laugh with 'The Miracle of Morgan's Creek'"; about a man who can't serve in the military in World War II, and he is so embarrassed that he leaves town for the duration, and when the war ends, he tries to quietly return home, but he encounters a group of returning soldiers who take sympathy on him, and they arrange to deceive his entire town into thinking he was a major war hero!) starring Eddie Bracken, Ella Raines, William Demarest, Raymond Walburn, Franklin Pangborn, Elizabeth Patterson, and Bill Edwards. Note that first release movie posters from this Preston Sturges comedy are EXTREMELY rare!
