A Bound Volume of 79 Original Vintage English Pressbooks (measures 10" x 14 1/2" [25 x 37 cm]) (Learn More)

a bound volume of 79 English pressbooks from the 1930s and 1940s. "Film Press Sheets: Volume IV S - ZR" is printed on the spine of the bound volume, and "KOBAL COLLECTION" is printed at the bottom of the spine. This was the famous image leasing company, and someone there apparently had these English pressbooks bound together into four volumes, which we will be offering in four separate auctions (one per week). The bound volume contains the following English pressbooks: Safari, Saigon, Salty O' Rourke, Salute For Three, Santa Fe Marshal, Say It In French, Scared Stiff, Searching Wind, Secret of G-32, Seven Were Saved, Shaggy, The Shepherd of the Hills, The Showdown, The Silent Battle, Silver on the Sage, Skylark, So Proudly We Hail, Song of Surrender, Sorrowful Jones, Speed to Spare, Stagecoach War, The Star Maker, Star Spangled Rhythm, Stolen Life, The Story of Dr. Wassell, The Story of Stalingrad, Stranded in Paris, Strange Cargo, Street of Chance, Streets of Laredo, Submarine Alert, Sudden Money, Suddenly It's Spring, Sullivan's Travels, Sunset Trail, Swamp Fire, Take It Big, Television Spy, Texas Rangers Ride Again, This Man in Paris, Three Men From Texas, Till We Meet Again, Tin Pan Alley, Tokyo Rose, Tombstone The Town To Tough To Die, Torpedo Boat, Two Years Before the Mast, The Trouble With Women, True to Life, True to the Army, The Turning Point, Typhoon, Undercover Doctor, The Uninvited, The Unseen, Untamed, Variety Girl, Victory, Virginia, Warpath, Waterfront at Midnight, Welcome Stranger, The Well Groomed Bride, What A Life, Where There's Life, Whispering Smith, Wide Open Town, Wild Harvest, Wildcat, The Women, World of Plenty, World Premiere, Wrecking Crew, A Yank at Oxford, You Came Along, You Can't Ration Love, Young People, You're the One, Zaza. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: very good. The pressbooks were generally in nice condition prior to being bound together, and there is only minor wear on the outer binding, but the pressbooks themselves are not affected. Of course, please realize that if one wanted to remove the pressbooks from the bound volume, they would have to destroy the binding and all of the pressbooks would have a line of tiny holes down the left side, so please bear this in mind before placing a bid on this bound volume.
