(Learn More) Belita (born Maria Belita Jepson-Turner) was a former Olympic ice skater and actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She competed in the 1936 Olympics at 12 years old, and she appeared in several Republic movies that involved ice skating, and later in some non-ice skating dramatic roles. Some of her movies include: Never Let Me Go, The Gangster, and Silver Skates. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 82. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Belita! Our consignor is a dealer who has acquired many autographed items over many decades. He enjoys finding an item with a good image of that star to "pair" it with, so that the owner can frame the signed item together with the item with the good image. Included with the signed item is a 1948 lobby card from "The Hunted", and magazine page with an ad for "The Gangster", and a book page showing a "Suspense" three-sheet. The items could be matted together to create a cool display!
