eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 7c004 ACES WILD TC '37 tough Harry Carey threatens to beat up man holding rock over head! Date Sold 5/19/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Aces Wild, the 1937 Harry L. Fraser cowboy western ("Conquest and courage!") starring Harry Carey Sr., Sonny ("The Marvel Horse"), Gertrude Messinger, Fred 'Snowflake' Toones (billed as "Snowflake"), Phil Dunham, Ed Cassidy, Chuck Morrison, Theodore Lorch (billed as "Ted Lorch"), William McCall, and Roger Williams. Note that "Sonny The Marvel Horse" had been uncredited in two previous B-westerns, and then had his moment of stardom when he was highly billed in this movie and also in "Ghost Town", made the same year, but he apparently made no further movies. If anyone knows more about Sonny, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Finally, note that Fred 'Snowflake' Toones was apparently so popular at this time that he was given top co-star billing among the human actors (unusual in westerns at this time), but he still was billed under Sonny the Marvel Horse! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are faint smudges and scuffs scattered throughout the card, with tack holes around the edges. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
