An Autographed 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Julius LaRosa was a singer from the 1950s to the 1980s. He appeared in a single movie and in a few TV shows. He is surely best remembered for what occurred in 1953, when he was an extremely popular singer on the Arthur Godfrey show, and Godfrey fired him ON AIR, because he "lacked humility"! He passed away in 2016 at the age of 86. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Julius LaRosa! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" [19 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Finally, note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
