An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (Learn More) Deadly Is the Female, the 1949 Joseph H. Lewis bad girl crime film noir ("Nothing deadlier is known to man than this..."; "She believes in two things... - Love and Violence!"; "From the Saturday Evening Post Story 'Gun Crazy' by MacKinlay Kantor") starring Peggy Cummins, John Dall, Berry Kroeger, Russ Tamblyn (billed as "Rusty Tamblyn"; in his fourth credited movie role!), and Don Beddoe. Note that in 1949 Joseph H. Lewis had released this movie as "Deadly Is the Female". In 1950 he re-titled this movie "Gun Crazy" and gave it a full-scale release under that name, and because the two releases are quite different, we list Gun Crazy under its own title (but of course explain the connection to this earlier title). There are posters of all sizes and lobby cards for both titles. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
