Stan and Ollie are hired, and it's a riot!") starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), Mary Boland, Philip Merivale, Henry O'Neill, and David Leland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Al Hirschfeld Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare half-sheet Laurel and Hardy movie poster! We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning. Note also that the one-sheet poster for this movie has a nice image of Laurel & Hardy tasting soup, but this half-sheet poster has spectacular art by Al Hirschfeld (we wonder why they didn't use it for the one-sheet as well). Note finally that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There are a few scuff marks and smudges scattered in various areas (mostly noticeable at left in the title area and inset image, and at lower right in some portions of the inset image). There is approximately 1 1/2" of separation in the right edge of the horizontal fold and there is tiny separation and paper loss in the crossfold (both are repaired with clear tape from the back). There is a partial paperclip stain at lower center. This rare half-sheet is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a relatively simple paperbacking the poster will look great!
