An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Four Days Wonder, the 1936 Sidney Saklow crime murder mystery melodrama ("From A.A. Milne's novel"; about a teenager who is fascinated by murder mysteries, and then accidentally gets mixed up in a real murder!) starring Jeanne Dante (billed as "The new screen discovery"), Kenneth Howell, Martha Sleeper, Alan Mowbray, Walter Catlett, Charles Williams, Spencer Charters, Margaret Irving, Murray Kinnell, and Rollo Lloyd. This movie was intended to make Jeanne Dante, then 13 years old, a new adolescent star, but sadly, that did not come to be. She had one more uncredited role that year, and then left the business, years later making a few uncredited appearances. Note that most people only know A.A. Milne as the author of the Winnie the Pooh stories, and most would be quite surprised to learn of this story he wrote, which was one of many plays and screenplays he wrote before he wrote his first successful Winnie the Pooh stories in 1925 (he wrote this play in 1921).

Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. There is faint water staining across most of the top of the card, with tiny paper loss in the left blank corners. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
