As Man Desires, the 1925 Irving Cummings silent South Seas tropical island action adventure romantic melodrama ("From Gene Wright's novel 'Pandora LaCroix'"; another of the great "they don't make 'em like they used to" movies!; a British surgeon in India is falsely accused of murder, and he goes to the South Seas, where he becomes a wealthy pearl fisherman; he sees a huge man named Gorilla molesting a native dancing girl named Pandora La Croix, and he rescues her, and she wants to become "his woman"; but meanwhile, the British authorities have searched for the doctor, and send a man to bring him back, along with his ex-girlfriend; but the man who intends to arrest him gets appendicitis, and the doctor saves his life; the man Gorilla tries to kill the doctor, and the native girl throws herself between them and is herself killed; meanwhile, his former girlfriend finds evidence that clears him, and the two of them return to India to start their life over together) starring Milton Sills, Viola Dana (as Pandora La Croix), Ruth Clifford, Rosemary Theby, Irving Cummings, Paul Nicholson, and Tom Kennedy (as Gorilla Bagsley)

Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm].

Condition: good. There is an uneven 3" tear near the middle of the right border and a 1/2" tear in the left border. There are pinholes around the edges and a few creases scattered in the still.
