Going to Glory... Come To Jesus, the 1946 T. Meyer all-black African American musical religious melodrama ("The Spiritual Masterpiece"; "A Fight with the Devil! The Devil promised her beautiful clothes and jewels - the good man showed her the way to happiness - What did she accept?"; "Does she sell her soul to the Devil?"; "A fight with the Devil for righteousness!"; "From the Successful New York Play by Wesley Wilson and Leola Grant"; "Spirituals sung by the Royal Gospel Choir"; "all colored cast of 30 and choir of 40") starring Irene Harper, Lloyd Howlett, Stella Van Derzee, Charles A. Freeman, John Watts, and Royal Gospel Choir (billed as "Featuring the Royal Gospel Choir"). Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: SUPER IMPORTANT! THOUGH ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED, THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 15 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE (but realize that on some of these lots with 9 or more stills there may be a few duplicates, mostly on post-1960 lots)! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills.
