An Original Vintage Italian Magazine (measures 8" x 10 3/4" [20 x 27 cm]; 36 pages) (Learn More) Mary Pickford was a Canadian actress from the 1900s to the 1930s. She was one of the top silent actresses, who specialized in playing young girl roles as an adult, and she was called "America's Sweetheart", and when she married Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. in 1920, the country rejoiced (and the country mourned when they divorced in 1936!). Some of her movies include: Little Annie Rooney (in the title role), Sparrows, My Best Girl, Coquette (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role), and Tess of the Storm Country. She passed away in 1979 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that included with this special issue was an 8" x 10" sepia photo printed on better quality paper than the magazine, featuring Pickford with her trademark curls (we have pictured this 8x10). Note that we have provided a picture of the front cover of the magazine, plus one or more interior two-page spreads (but we didn't make much effort to find the best ones!).
