The lot contains 100 identical heralds, so we have only pictured the front and back of one, but the winner of this auction receives all 100 heralds! Of course, Love Me Madly! is the 1954 Klaytan W. Kirby sexploitation movie ("Cheat me mistreat me beat me! But. Love Me Madly!"; "Five of the world's most gorgeous females"; "Strictly Adult Entertainment") starring Marilyn Waltz, Lynn Craig, Georgine Darcy (billed as "Georgine 'Miss Torso' Darcy"; a reference to her role in "Rear Window", which was released the same year, but prior to this movie), and Al Molinaro (in his first movie, much later famous for his role as Al Delvecchio in TV's "Happy Days"!). Note that this is a really fascinating movie, for several reasons. First, it had a far more complicated plot than similar movies of the time, with a narrator who is a psychoanalyst, who tells stories about various women in sexually related situations, some of which, but not all, are the sort that would have excited men! Each story is shown in flashback, and at the end, the psychoanalyst realizes that one of the women he has talked about is actually his secretary, and he confesses his love to her! The director, Klaytan W. Kirby, only made this movie and one other, another cult film called "A Virgin in Hollywood" (which amazingly had a 3-D section!), and other than that, we don't know what became of him. The star of the movie, Marilyn Waltz, was a very early Playboy centerfold in the February 1954 issue (under the alias of "Margaret Scott"), and she later became the centerfold again under her real name, and then was a centerfold for the third time, making her the first (and only one of two) women ever to be a centerfold three times (but partially because she deceived them by using an alias the first time, which was not uncovered until decades later). She had a career as a singer and a model, but this was her only movie, and in 1958, she married and retired from show business, becoming a real estate agent, and she had two children and passed away in 2006 at the age of 75. Finally, note that the IMDb says that this movie was also released as "Love My Way" and "The Wild Sex", but we have never seen anything with either of those two titles, and they could be re-release titles, or the IMDb could be simply wrong. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Measurements: 8 1/2" x 10 3/4"Condition: good to very good.
