An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 10" x 14" [25 x 36 cm]; 28 pages) (Learn More) Filmways Pictures 1980-81, the 1980 studio yearbook showcasing upcoming Filmways Pictures movies that were to be released or produced in '80 and '81. Some of the films include: Ragtime, Blow Out, Blade Runner, Halloween II, Once Upon a Time in America, and more! Note that this campaign book is more interesting for the movies it advertises that were either never made or were retitled, including "Dangerously" with Dudley Moore, "Queens Story" with Richard Dreyfuss, and "Streets of New York" (directed by Sydney Pollack). Also note that the ad for Blade Runner has totally different artwork we have never seen anywhere else (it was created well in advance of the movie itself, and before Harrison Ford was attached to the project). There is also a cool ad for Halloween II, with a photographic image of a pumpkin with a bloody dagger stuck in it! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good.
