An Autographed Greeting Card (measures 4 1/2" x 7") (Learn More) Eleanor Powell was an actress and legendary tap dancer from the 1930s to the 1950s, primarily in MGM musicals. She was married to Glenn Ford from 1943 to 1969, and they had one child, Peter Ford. Some of her movies include: Broadway Melody of 1936, Thousands Cheer, and Honolulu. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 69. Important Added Info: Note that this greeting card has been personally autographed (signed) by Eleanor Powell! Miss Powell likely had it personally made for her, showing the poster from one of her biggest movies on the front. In the case of this particular card, she used it when she was thanking a friend for a gift he sent, and she also enclosed photos of her young grandson (which are no longer present), and she signed it "Ellie", and it is certain that she wrote it and signed it herself. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
