An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Test of Honor, the 1919 John S. Robertson silent wrongful imprisonment revenge crime legal lawyer courtroom melodrama (from the novel 'The Malefactor' by E. Phillips Oppenheim; about a man wrongfully accused of a crime and his attempts to prove his innocence in a court of law) starring John Barrymore, Constance Binney, Marcia Manon, Robert Schable, and Jack W. Johnston. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that director John S. Robertson would reunite with John Barrymore the year after this movie was made for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there are two white areas in two of the corners that look like they COULD be a defect of some sort, but they are NOT. They exist on stills from silent films that have this sort of black border around the edges. It appears that stills of this sort were made by actually blowing up a frame of film, and perhaps those white areas are some sort of sprocket holes. In any event, they are contained within the printing and are not any sort of defect! Condition: good to very good. The still is lightly rippled throughout. Learn More about condition grades
