Lupin the Third, the 2009 Japanese animated anime cartoon film festival of Lupin the III films. Lupin the Third is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Monkey Punch. It follows the escapades of master thief Arsene Lupin III, the grandson of Arsene Lupin, the gentleman thief of Maurice Leblanc's series of novels. It spawned a media franchise that includes anime television series, animated feature films, two live-action films and more.
