Note that 20th Century Fox distributed this movie in the U.S., but sold the distribution rights to RKO for it's international release. Movie paper from either studio that is dated "1956" on this title are both from the original release. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this classic movie was first distributed in 1956 by RKO, which gave it a "roadshow" release (a limited release in major cities with higher than normal ticket prices). Normally, this would have been followed up by a second wide release "at popular prices", also by RKO, but at this exact time, RKO was folding, so the wide release was handled by 20th Century Fox instead. So the material from RKO is from the very first limited roadshow release, while the material from 20th Century-Fox is from the general release. THIS poster is from the RKO release! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It was likely once framed as it has some creases and compression marks around the edges and darkening in portions of the left edge and right blank border (see our image). There are a few tiny dot stains in the lower right blank border and there are small, partial horizontal creases in the lower left edge. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and it displays well (and after a simple paperbacking it would look great!). Learn More about condition grades
