Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Eleventh Hour, the 1923 Bernard J. Durning silent action melodrama starring Buck Jones (billed as "Charles Jones"), Shirley Mason, June Elvidge, Alan Hale Sr., and Richard Tucker. Note that Buck Jones' white horse was named Silver (just like The Lone Ranger's later on!), and Silver made 73 movies with Buck Jones from 1922 until Jones' death in 1942 in the tragic Cocoanut Grove fire. But oddly, Silver was almost never billed on the posters for Buck Jones' movies as so many other famous horses (most especially Tom Mix's Tony) were! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. As is typical with older glass slides, this slide has no holder, but has black tape around all the edges of the glass.
