Le Vetement Chic (literally translates to "Chic Clothing"), the 1934 French advertising poster (with a shield with a Latin motto that translates to "Work Conquers All") promoting a clothing store, and featuring artwork of two well-dressed men. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had some faint brown stains scattered in background areas, but they are not very distracting. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
