Date Sold 11/28/2021 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 1 bound volume of 1935 issues of Photoplay Film Monthly, the English magazine ("The World's Top Film Magazine") that seems to be completely separate from the famous American Photoplay magazine, although they share the same title. Note that this English magazine contains sexier images (including some topless photos!) that would never have appeared in American film magazines of the same period. Note that at some point in the 1980s, the magazine changed its title to "Photoplay Movies & Video". Note that this is one of five bound volumes of early movie magazines that we are currently auctioning, in five separate auctions. Measurements: 9" x 11 1/2"Condition: fair to good. The covers of the individual magazines were removed before binding. Someone left those covers loose in the back of the bound volume, but they have become tattered down the left and right sides.
